Accelerated corrosion testing needs accuracy, dependability, and space economy. Our Salt Fog Test Cabinet does just that. It is designed specifically for laboratories with limited floor space but demanding testing needs. Different from the big walk-in salt spray chambers used in the large-scale component testing, this small salt fog tester has capacities from 108L to 1000L, and takes just 0.5~2m2 floor area. Ideal for multi-variety, small-batch testing, the product offers single-operator ease, yet maintains accuracy and compliance with international standards.

A transparent acrylic door with built-in LED lighting allows operators to monitor corrosion changes without opening the chamber. Real-time sample observation helps maintain test conditions and record results easily.
The external 88L reservoir with liquid-level sensors supports long-term continuous spraying. Automatic refill and low-level alarms reduce interruptions during testing.
The integrated system helps manage salt fog discharge with:
pH neutralization for safer wastewater handling
Fog collection for spray rate monitoring
Exhaust filtration to protect laboratory environments
The chamber maintains a stable test temperature up to 50°C with ±1°C accuracy. PID control and saturated air supply ensure consistent salt spray conditions and repeatable test results.
Our salt spray test chambers comply with major corrosion testing standards, including:
• ASTM B117
• ISO 9227
• IEC 60068-2-11 Test Ka
• DEF STAN 00-35
Reliable performance ensures accurate and repeatable corrosion test results.
Since 2012, LIB has supplied salt corrosion testing solutions to customers in 60+ countries. ISO 9001-certified manufacturing and trusted partnerships with global companies ensure consistent quality.
With service centers in Malaysia, Canada, UK, and USA, plus 29 worldwide agents, we provide fast local support. Every chamber includes a 3-year warranty and lifetime service.
From special chamber sizes to system integration, our engineering team delivers tailored solutions for specific testing requirements.
Q: What's the difference between neutral and acidic salt fog testing?
A: Neutral (NSS) 5% NaCl,pH 6.5~7.2, 35°C. Acidic (ASS/CASS) adds acetic acid or copper chloride, to accelerate corrosion 3~8× quicker for speedy assessment.
Q: How often should I clean the chamber?
A: Every 120-240 test hours depending on use intensity. Use distilled water below 35°C to avoid salt crystal formation.
Q: Can I test electronic components?
A: Yes. Our equipment is fully compliant with IEC 60068-2-11 for electronics. Use adequate sample holders to prevent direct contact with the spray.
Q: What grade of compressed air is needed?
A: Oil-free, filtered air at 0.07 to 0.17 MPa (10 to 25 psi) Built-in filters provide atomisation quality per ASTM B117 requirements.
